Gary was a charter member and our first Orator whose involvement was vital to the establishment and success of our group.  He was a New Jersey State Assemblyman who took the time and trouble to be a part of this organization when others waited to see if it was a success or not.  Gary was an involved member who also contributed much money in sponsorship of our events.

OSIA Mercer County therefore, as sponsored by the President and approved by the Executive Board, hereby inducts Gary L. Guear as the first member of the OSIA Mercer County Hall Of Fame.

Maria was a founding member and our first President.  It was Maria's vision and strength that started the lodge and without her, the lodge surely would not exist today.  The list of her accomplishments for our lodge and involvement in activities are far too numerous to mention here.  She was a part of every event held in the 3 years of her tenure.  Not only did she donate her time in the planning and organizing of events but she donated her money as well, sponsoring many events.
