February Newsletter
Message from the President
Theresa Di Stefano
Dear Mercer County Lodge Members,
Let me begin by apologizing to anyone who had a relative who sent in a scholarship application that was returned to them. Apparently there was an issue with the post office closing our box and we were unaware of it.
Since this occurrence we have extended the deadline to resubmit all applications. The scholarships will be awarded at a dinner in March. The date, place and time will be sent to you after we have finalized everything.
A letter with the status of our lodge will follow in early March. We need to contact the Grand Lodge for guidance and instructions.
Thank you for you support and understanding.
Theresa

CURRENT LODGE STATUS
As of the writing of this newsletter it is with disappointment that I share with you that no member of this lodge has expressed an interest in becoming President and forming a new Board. As a result of this it will be necessary for me to contact the Grand Lodge and make them aware of the status of this lodge. As I receive further information from the Grand Lodge I will pass it on to you. Please be aware that the general meeting held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 will be the last general meeting. You will be receiving a letter under separate cover authorizing future details.
